Taze Sut ve Sut Urunleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. is a fully owned subsidiary of DFI.

Production Capabilities

Taze Sut owns and operates a modern dairy farm near the town Foca, 50km north of Izmir, Turkey.
The farm has been built from scratch (i.e. "Green Field") on a land DFI has purchased in late 2006.
The farm is designed for a capacity of 1,100 "wet" milking cows and has started its operations as recently as in the summer of 2007.
The farm currently markets over 15,000 liters per day.


Uniquness
Taze dairy farm in Foca is one of the first large and modern free dairy farm in Turkey and the Aegean area. The farm incorporates a modern management system, with a state of the art milking parlor as well as sophisticated computerized system for feed and herd management.


Managment

Mr. Amir Rechtman - Dairy Farm Manager
Mr. Rechtman holds an "Animal Practical Engineer" diploma from "Rupin" academic institute and is a "advanced Husbandry" course graduate from "Ofek". Mr. Rechtman has been in the dairy farm business for over 20 years. He has started as a small child and climbed to a position of farm manager through his managerial skills, his keen sense and love of animals and his vast experience in the field. Mr. Rechtman has managed to create a professional and dedicated team at the Taze Foca farm.

Mr. Koray Ba?tano?lu - Administration Manager
Mr. Bastanoglu holds a degree in Economics. As part of DFI training Mr. Bastanoglu has worked on the farm and is familiar not only with its administration aspects but also with the rigorous, day to day operation of the farm from milking, nursery to feeding. Mr. Bastanoglu is instrumental in his management of the purchasing, administration and all relationships with suppliers, customers and governmental agencies.
